The Author of Marriage is our Heavenly Father and His word has much to say about it. The purpose of this site and my writings is to discuss the many truths of the scriptures relating to marriage. It is my prayer that my readers will explore all that God intended marriage to be and that God would be glorified by the results of Godly marriages.

James was raised in Venezuela by his parents Joe and Jana Price who are missionaries with New Tribes Mission; He grew up experiencing many different cultures and ways of life, which has helped him to think outside of the box regarding relationships and God’s plan for our lives.
While attending Bible College in Wisconsin he gained a new passion for helping others to know God better and to develop a stronger personal relationship with their heavenly Father. He states that he often got side tracked from studies as he visited with friends encouraging them to walk closer to God and to fall in love with the Author of the book they were studying. Before founding J Price Consulting, LLC James was the president and owner of a technology rental company. He has had over 10 years experience in business ownership and building effective employment teams that work well together. James has a real heart and desire to see businesses use their resources to sustain ministry around the world. He is co-founder of villageTell, LLC a company that utilizes the micro finance industry to assist others in starting micro businesses around the world. His desire is to see Western Christian businesses use their God-given resources to bless others around the world and thus further God’s glory. |
James has over 15 years experience in church ministry he is a minister of the word currently serving Northland A Church Distributed in Longwood, Florida. He has served in a variety of ways including marriage and pre-married pastoral counseling. He has taught many classes including book studies like Wild at Heart by John Eldridge, Love is a Decision by Gary Smalley, Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, Covenant Marriage by Gary Chapman, Communications Classes, and numerous others.
While working at Northland A Church Distributed James developed an internet listing service called www.ByWordOfWeb.com that is a great tool for churches and ministries to find resources to help them in their effort to help others. This not-for-profit site uses its resources to fund such ministries as villageTell.
James has been married to his wife Cindy for 18 years. They have two children, Matthew, age 15 years and Heather, age 11 years. James and Cindy have also found joy in ministering to foster children as a family. They have had two foster girls live with them and have invited numerous foster children into their home for special occasions over the years.
James is currently writing a book titled “The Author of Marriage” that explores all that God says about marriage and how to become the husband or wife God wants you to be. This is what James has to say about his book and the passion God has given him to minister to others, “The one thing I will always gravitate to is ministering to others, I am so fulfilled by serving in this way, that I would drop almost anything I was doing to be able to help someone that is struggling in marriage, I literally can’t wait till the next time I can tell someone about the Author of marriage.”
